BAND BIO

Rosie Daze Band is a vibrant musical collective breathing fresh air into the bluegrass scene. Their sound is a captivating blend of traditional bluegrass roots and contemporary influences, creating a unique and unforgettable listening experience. The band's members are passionate musicians with a deep love for the genre, having decades of collective experience on and off the stage in the music world, and their performances are known for their infectious energy and heartfelt delivery.

With the release of NOBODY HERE BUT US, Spring 2025, the band ventures further into their sound development to deliver songs that are sure to become favorites. Be sure to click the link above and read excerpts from their Album Reviews.

Their album release show was played to a sold out/standing room only crowd at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater, Minneapolis.

Some Notable Stops this Season

In March, they had the good fortune to play at Hopkins Center for the Arts and opened for Sister Sadie, an all-women national level touring and award-winning band in the bluegrass scene.

Rosie Daze went on to play for MBOTMA August Festival 2025 on both the Main Stage and the Underground Stage, while leading workshops on songwriting, harmony development, and jam circle etiquette.

They also played the first annual Red River Roots Festival this Fall in North Dakota, where they led a very well attended Old Time Jam.

Press and Ongoing Programming

The band can regularly be heard on radio programs across Minnesota including Inside Bluegrass, KFAI Programming (notably WomenFolk), KVSC Monday Night Live!, and 88.5’s Bluegrass Saturday Mornings. They will be featured on 2026 season of PBS Backroads.
